CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The man who is accused of triggering an AMBER Alert Tuesday appeared in court on charges he allegedly assaulted the child’s mother.
Jeremy Judkins is also charged with making false alarms and theft.
Judkins allegedly told the mother that he had thrown the toddler in the river, launching a large-scale search in the overnight hours Tuesday.
According to investigators, Judkins knew the toddler was safe at his sister’s home.
The mother and child were eventually reunited at a home on Eastlawn Drive and Judkins was arrested.
He is also accused of choking the child’s mother until she lost consciousness and kicking her in the chest.
A judge ordered him held on $37,000 bond. He also signed a protection order.
