Those seeking to watch the game will need a subscription to ESPN+.The game has long been one of the hottest sports rivalries in Cincinnati.Xavier has won the game the last five times that the two teams have faced off, with the Bearcats’ last win coming in 2018.This year, UC has a 7-1 season record leading into the matchup, while Xavier has a 8-2 record.With such strong records, both teams said that they are anticipating a very hard-fought fight Saturday.”I mean they get told it enough,” said Simas Lukosius, a guard for the Bearcats. “Everybody knows what it is about and they don’t need any extra motivation for me. I am very happy I have a win over them but I need another one.”Similar sentiments were also shared by Xavier’s players before the game.”Last year the UC game was probably the hardest game to play in that I have been a part of,” said Dayvion McKnight, a guard for Xavier. “It definitely lived up to the hype and I am ready for it.”The Bearcats will also be debuting their new “Black Cat” jerseys before their home crowd.You can find tickets for the game here.
