In Netflix’s La Palma, a Norwegian family visits the beautiful island for a serene vacation when word of a volcanic eruption spreads. It is two researchers, Marie and Haukur, who first notice that there’s a crack in the mountain so large that it means a natural disaster is about to hit shockingly soon. When they go to Alvaro, the local research head, he dismisses their claims and tells them to come back with solid proof.
