Bakersfield was led by CJ Hardy who scored 22 points on the night and added four rebounds and three assists to his final stat line. Hardy hurt the Pilots from three-point range, shooting 4-6 from deep, his best shooting performance beyond the arc on the year. The Roadrunner three point shooting was this year’s best percentage wise, shooting 63%. Jemel Jones (17), Marvin McGhee III (14), and Fidelis Okereke (12) combined for 43 points.
CSUB’s defense forced Portland to shoot 40% from the field and to commit 14 turnovers which turned into 21 `Runner points. Fidelis Okereke added to his block total on the year, rejecting two shots from the Pilots.
