The Bonnet Carre Spillway traffic is now moving after being closed for several hours. I-55 South is now open. A rolling convoy remains in effect on the Causeway southbound bridge until further notice.The northbound Causeway Bridge is down to the right lane only and speeds have been reduced to 45 mph. Drivers should expect delays. Drivers are encouraged to give themselves plenty of extra time for their commute and take an alternate route.
