LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has reportedly signed a blockbuster contract extension with sports apparel brand Nike.
ESPN reports Wilson and Nike agreed to a six-year extension that will be one of the richest shoe contracts for a women’s basketball player.
It would rank her alongside JuJu Watkins, Sabrina Ionescu and Caitlin Clark, according to the report.
This comes as Wilson prepares to release her first shoe with Nike, the A’One, in the spring.
This past year, the Aces forward earned her third WNBA MVP award and won a gold medal as a member of the U.S. women’s basketball team at the Paris Olympics.
She also broke the WNBA’s single-season scoring and rebounding records and became the first player to score 1,000 points in a season.
