Netflix’s heartwarming reality series Queer Eye is back for its ninth season, and it’s time to turn up the self-love. This time around, fans can expect a new city and Fab Five member. After two seasons in New Orleans, the Fab Five are heading to Las Vegas to help a new group of heroes, including a former showgirl looking to reclaim her confidence and a librarian ready seeking a change. Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, and Tan France are returning for the ninth season, but Bobby Berk will not be joining them.
Berk announced that he was leaving Queer Eye after Season 8 in November 2023. “It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on Queer Eye. It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one,” he penned on X. “Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon.”
Replacing Berk is Jeremiah Brent, a renowned interior designer, television personality, and author. Brent is the founder of the lifestyle brand Atrio and the interior design firm Jeremiah Brent Design (JBD). He is married to fellow designer Nate Berkus, and together they starred in the 2021 HGTV docuseries The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project. They share two children: daughter Poppy and son Oskar.
“In some ways, Queer Eye is connecting me to a part of myself that I had left behind, because I’m in dad mode and I run a business. With them, I get to be a little bit more free,” Brent said in an interview with House Beautiful in March 2024.

The ninth season of Queer Eye consists of 10 episodes, which is an increase compared to the previous two seasons that had 6 and 7 episodes, respectively. The only other seasons to feature 10 episodes are seasons 5 and 6.
