Do you hear that hyperventilating sound?
That was the legion of Nebraska fans crying into the wilderness that all of these defensive players were entering the transfer portal. This was especially true for the defensive linemen.
Who could blame those players as Nebraska did not have an assistant coach in place to coach the defensive line and the transfer portal opened up.
Well Pete Thamel of ESPN reports that Nebraska has hired current Kansas City Chiefs Assistant Defensive Line coach Terry Bradden to head one of the most important positions on the defense.

As of this time we do not know much about Terry Bradden except that he has spent the past eight seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and the past four as its assistant defensive line coach.
It is probably never a bad idea to grab a coach from a team that has won three Super Bowls.
Nice get by Matt Rhule.
