Just for Laughs has added a second Vancouver show to Jerry Seinfeld’s upcoming West Coast swing next February. Tickets are now on sale for a second February 23 set at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
Seinfeld will now close out this year’s Just For Laughs comedy festival with a headlining double-header at the Queen E. With the first show at 6:30pm selling out immediately, the just-announced second one will get underway the same night at 9pm.
Already a major draw on the standup circuit, Seinfeld became one of the most successful entertainers on the planet in the ’90s with the launch of Seinfeld. A pop-culture juggernaut, the show ran for nine seasons, scoring a mountain of Emmys and ensuring the comedian, thanks to syndication rights, would never have to work again.
Except Seinfeld, now 70, has done just that, continuing to perform a tireless standup schedule, make movies, write books, host a chat show, and most recently, oversee the Netflix documentary Frosted.
Should you be unable to score tickets to one of the most iconic names in comedy, Seinfeld will be back on the West Coast on April 25 at the Abbotsford Centre.
