Several stars hit the red carpet on Wednesday for the premiere of “The Fire Inside” in Los Angeles. The film marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Rachel Morrison, who earned an Oscar nomination for her work on 2018’s “Black Panther.”

Bailey gave the sheer dressing a glimmering spin, wearing a backless look encrusted with cascading silver sequins by Chet Lo from the brand’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The singer’s formfitting dress created a mermaid-like silhouette, with silver sequins adorning the black mesh, semi-sheer fabric. The dress was coordinated with a hood Bailey wore, along with black sunglasses as an accessory. Bailey was styled by Jason Rembert.
Meagan Good

Meagan Good showcased her iteration of high-low dressing, wearing a black blazer with high-waisted denim shorts and over-the-knee black boots. The actress accessorized with a baseball cap and favored the peekaboo bra trend as well, which has been styled by such stars as Kristen Stewart, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Sydney Sweeney throughout 2024.

“The Fire Inside” star Ryan Destiny brought fiery energy to the red carpet premiere of her film, wearing a red gown with gathered and draped fabric. The look featured one off-the-shoulder element with draped fabric on the bodice and a gathered element at the waist. She accessorized the ensemble with shimmering rings and a bracelet.

Actress KiKi Layne wore the leopard Medusa ’95 draped gown courtesy of Versace. The floor-length, asymmetric dress included side, draped panels and featured an allover leopard pattern. The sleeveless dress also featured a Medusa ’95 hardware accent on one of the shoulders.
“The Fire Inside” tells the true story of Claressa “T-Rex” Shields (Destiny). Claressa is a boxer from Flint, Mich., who trains to become the first woman in the United States to win an Olympic gold medal in the sport. The film costars Oscar-nominated actor Brian Tyree Henry. The film will debut in theaters on Dec. 25.
