Parts of northern New Jersey will get some snow and wintry mix overnight Sunday into Monday morning.
The impending inclement has caused some school districts to announce delayed openings or closures on Monday, Dec. 16.
The National Weather Service is predicting snow in the northwestern parts New Jersey overnight. The wintry precipitation is expected to change over to all rain at some point Monday morning.
“Untreated roads could become slippery … potentially impacting the Monday morning commute, especially along/north of I-80,” the NWS warned in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
